Dusun Kerengga Retreat

A  family Getaway hidden away in a small village in Sungkai ,Perak .

It is privately  owned .
Built over the banks of the Sungkai River, the view of the river from the
living hall
is simply magnificent .

The dining hall is an annexe to the main living hall
connected by a small footbridge.

Shielded by the foliage of tropical trees ,it remains
in the shadows all daylong amidst a surrounding greenery .

Breakfast on the veranda of the living hall reminds
you of the one you had on the Zambezi in the African Safari.....
                   minus the hippos.

The living hall is spacious and sufficient for the three year old to romp around .

The children sleeping pan in the master's bedroom
takes two comfortably

The outdoor bath/shower offers a new experience .

Inside it , is a traditional Malay bath pool called the ' kolah ' .It is fun
for  little kids

The water is icy cold but the kids don't care .

The older ones have other ideas .

Rain at the Retreat is a mixture of everlasting beauty .
